: : : Could any one please tell me where the
Tuckers originated from before England. And is
there a Tucker Coat of Arms

: : : Thanks Margaret

: : yes, go to www.genforum:surnames:tucker family
genealogy forum and look for posting "re Coat of
Arms" by Ella Gartrell on June 11 1999: before
England was France, Tucker listed in Domesday 1087
and one came over with William I 1066 regards Bill
Wood

: I have a copy of the Tucker Coat of Arms. I
also have a partial listing of the Tucker Family
Tree. I believe I may have some dates prior to
the Tucker who came to England with William the
Conqueror.

: My grandmother was a Tucker.

Could this also be a relation to Lord Tucker who came to Canada, I'm guessing around the 1700's near Nova Scotia and married a female with the first name something like, Penny or Mini, and the last name king?
